Abstract: THE PUBLIC UTILITIES REGULATORY POLICY ACT OF 1978 (PURPA), SECTION 13 REQUIRES ELECTRIC UTILITIES TO GATHER AND FILE INFORMATION NECESSARY TO DETERMINE A UTILITY'S COST OF PROVIDING RETAIL ELECTRIC SERVICE. RM92-10 STREAMLINES THE REQUIREMENTS SO THAT UTILITIES MUST ONLY PROVIDE FERC WITH AN AFFIDAVIT OF DATA SUBMITTED TO STATE AGENCIES.
