Abstract: THE AFFECTED PUBLIC ARE OWNERS/OPERATORS OF VESSELS THAT ENTER THE GRE LAKES AFTER OPERATING BEYOND THE EXCLUSIVE ECONOMIC ZONE. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE BALLAST WATER MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS OF THE NONINDIGENOUS AQUATIC NUISANCE PREVENTI AND CONTROL ACT OF 1990. INFORMATION COLLECTED WILL ALSO BE USED TO COMPILE STATISTICAL DATA ON COMPLIANCE AND EFFECTIVENESS.
