Abstract: THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT MUST ASSURE THAT NEW JERSEY AND PUERTO RICO CASINOS ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE BANK SECRECY ACT AND REGULATIONS THEREUNDER, 31 CFR PART 103. THE PROPOSED REGULATIONS WOULD CORRECT HERETOFORE NONCOMPLIANCE AND AID THE IRS IN REVIEWING COMPLIANCE AND KEEP RECORDS AND FILE REPORTS THAT THE SECRETARY DETERMINES HAVE A HIG DEGREE OF USEFULNESS IN CRIMINAL, TAX, OR REGULATORY MATTERS.
