Abstract: THIS SURVEY OF PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IS BEING CONDUCTED FOR THE OFFICE OF RESEARCH AS PART OF THE DEPARTMENT'S EFFORTS TO IMPROVE MEASUREMENT CRITERIA, INSTRUMENTS, AND PROCEDURES USED FOR EVALUATING THE PERFORMANCE OF TEACHERS.
