Abstract: THE OFFICE OF CORRECTIONAL EDUCATION IS REQUIRED TO COLLECT DATA FROM STATES AND PROVIDE AN ANNUAL REPORT TO CONGRESS ON CORRECTIONAL EDUCATION. CLEARANCE IS SOUGHT TO FIELD TEST INSTRUMENTS AT STATE AGENCIES RESPONSIBLE FOR CORRECTIONAL EDUCATION AND JAIL FACILITIES TO DETERMINE THE FEASIBILITY OF COLLECTING NATIONAL DATA ON CORRECTION EDUCATION.
