NRC PLANS TO CONDUCT A SURVEY AND
FOLLOW-UP INTERVIEWS WITH A SAMPLE O NUCLEAR INDUSTRY PERSONNEL AS
PART OF AN EVALUATION OF THE NUCLEAR OPERATOR LICENSING PROGRAM.
THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THE SURVEY ARE TO IDENTIFY PROBLEMS WITH
EXAMINATIONS CONSISTENCY, IDENTIFY THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
OF A CENTRALIZED VERSUS DECENTRALIZED APPROACH, AND IDENTIFY OTHER
RECENTRALIZATION ISSUES.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
