Abstract: MEDICATED FEEDS ARE GIVEN TO FOOD PRODUCING ANIMALS FOR DISEASE PREVENTION/TREATMENT AND TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVE PERFORMANCE. COMPLIANC WITH GMPS PROVIDE ASSURANCE THAT FEEDS WILL BE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE AND NOT CAUSE UNSAFE RESIDUES IN THE EDIBLE PRODUCTS OF TREATED ANIMALS. PRODUCTS OF TREATED ANIMALS.
