Abstract: HUNTING OF LESSER SANDHILL CRANES IS AUTHORIZED IN EIGHT MID-WESTERN STATES. FOR EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF THE AFFECTED SANDHILL CRANE POPULATION AND TO PRECLUDE OVER-HARVEST, ANNUAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRE ON THE MAGNITUDE AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE CRANE HARVEST.
