Abstract: THERE IS A NEED TO DOCUMENT THE STATUS OF VICTIM ASSISTANCE AGENCIES OPERATING AT THE FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LEVELS, PARTICULARLY THE TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR THESE AGENCIES AND THEIR TRAINING NEEDS. A SAMP OF VICTIM ASSISTANCE AGENCIES WILL BE SURVEYED AT THE STATE AND LOCAL LEVELS.
