Abstract: THESE TELEPHONE INTERVIEWS WITH THE PUBLIC ARE BEING CONDUCTED TO OBTAIN DATA ON THE TAXPAYER SERVICE TOLL-FREE TELEPHONE SYSTEM. THE DATA WILL BE USED IN DEVELOPING AN APPROACH TO ESTABLISH A MORE EFFICIENT LEVEL OF SERVICE FOR THE IRS'S TOLL-FREE TELEPHONE SYSTEM.
