Abstract: ERAMS IS A CONTINUOUS NATIONWIDE MONITORING SYSTEM OF 313 COLLECTION STATIONS OPERATED BY STATE (AND SOME LOCAL) GOVERNMENTS WHICH PROVIDES VITAL DATA TO EPA AND OTHER FEDERAL AND STATE AGENCIES ON AMBIENT LEVE OF RADIOACTIVE POLLUTANTS IN THE ENVIRONMENT AND ON THE IMPACT OF FALLOUT AND OTHER INTRUSIONS OF RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS ON THE ENVIRONMENT.
