Abstract: THIS REGULATION ESTABLISHES REGULATIONS REQUIRING RESPONSE PLANS FOR CERTAIN PIPELINES THAT TRANSPORT OIL. THE PURPOSE OF THESE REQUIREMEN IS TO IMPROVE RESPONSE CAPABILITIES AND MINIMIZE THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF OIL SPILLS FROM PIPELINES.
