This ICR is
approved through December 1994. EPA has done a thorough job in
analyzing recent TSCA 8(e) submissions. OMB agrees with EPA's
proposal to perform a follow-up study. This study would determine
the practical utility and burden of data submission for chemicals
that EPA has rated as a low hazard or chemicals not on the TSCA
inventory. EPA should amend its TSCA 8(e) reporting requirements
based on the findings of this forthcoming study. EPA shall submit a
separate ICR for any notice, policy, or guidance that will affect
the annual burden associated with TSCA 8(e) submissions.
