Abstract: THE COAST GUARD BOATING SAFETY EDUCATION BRANCH SEEKS APPROVAL FOR AN INFORMATION REQUEST TO THE 50 STATES AND FIVE U.S. TERRITORIES TO DETERMINE THE PERCENTAGE OF TIME THAT STATE BOATING SAFETY/LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS ARE SPENDING PERFORMING RECREATIONAL BOATING TASKS. THE RESULTS WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP A BOATING SAFETY COURSE
