Abstract: CONGRESS REQUESTED P&SA TO EXAMINE THE EFFECTS OF CONCENTRATION IN THE RED MEAT PACKING INDUSTRY. INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO CONDUCT THE REQUESTED ANALYSIS AND ASSIST P&SA IN MONITORING THE INDUSTRY. DATA WILL BE COLLECTED FROM LIVESTOCK PRODUCERS, MEAT PACKERS, AND OTHER SEGMENTS OF THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY.
