Abstract: THE NPRM SOLICITS PUBLIC COMMENT TO CODIFY THE FILING OF INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT STATUS REPORTS. ALL FACILITIES-BASED INTERNATIONAL CARRIERS WOULD BE REQUIRED TO FILE A REPORT ANNUALLY. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE USE OF EXISTING INTERNATIONAL SUBMARINE CABLE SATELITE FACILITIES AS A PART OF THE ASSESSMENT OF THE NEED FOR NEW CABLE AND SATELITE FACILITIES WHEN CONSIDERING APPLICATIONS FOR SUCH
