THE MAINTENANCE RULE, WOULD REDUCE THE FREQUENCY THAT NUCLEAR POWER
PLANT LICENSEES MUST EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MAINTENANCE
ACTIVITIES FOR SAFETY SIGNIFICANT PLANT EQUIPMENT FROM ANNUALLY TO
ONCE EACH REFUELING OUTAGE, NOT TO EXCEED 24 MONTHS.
