Abstract: THE SMALL BUSINESS INVESTMENT ACT OF 1958, AS AMENDED, AUTHORIZES SBA LICENSE SMALL BUSINESS INVESTMENT COMPANIES. THE INFORMATION REQUESTE IN THE LICENSE APPLICATION PROVIDES SBA WITH THE NECESSARY FACTS TO MA A JUDGMENT AS TO WHETHER THE APPLICANT WILL CONDUCT ITSELF AND PROVIDE THE FINANCINGS TO SMALL BUSINESSES AS INTENDED BY THE ACT.
