Abstract: THE MINING LAW OF 1872 (30 U.S.C. 21-54) REQUIRES THE ISSUANCE OF A MINERAL PATENT WHERE THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAW HAVE BEEN MET AND A MINERAL PATENT APPLIED FOR.
