Terms of Clearance: Approved through December 1995. Customs has met the terms of clearanc dated October 26, 1992. For each request for extension of approval of recordkeeping requirements of more than 3 years, Customs should explai the reason for retention and the actual use being made of the retained records after the initial 3 years. The explanation of the reason for the retention period after the first three years shoud go beyond the citation of a statute or regulation.
