Abstract: APPLICATION FOR INSPECTION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO COAST GUARD INSPECTION FOR CERTIFICATION OF A U.S. VESSEL. APPLICATION PROVIDES CERTAIN BASIC INFORMATION NEEDED FOR PLANNING AND CARRYING OUT THE INSPECTION. WRITT REQUESTS ARE REQUIRED FOR WAIVERS FROM COAST GUARD INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS DUE TO NATIONAL DEFENSE CONSIDERATINS. OWNERS AND OPERATO ARE THE AFFECTED PUBLIC.
