Abstract: PUBLIC LAW 92-392 REQUIRES THAT RATES OF PAY FOR FEDERAL BLUE-COLLAR EMPLOYEES COVERED BY THIS LAW BE FIXED AND ADJUSTED ON AN ANNUAL BASIS IN ACCORDANCE WITH RATES PREVAILING IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR. IN ORDER T DETERMINE THE PREVAILING RATES, WAGE SURVEYS ARE CONDUCTED IN 278 GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONS ANNUALLY. THESE FORMS ARE USED TO COLLECT THE NECESSARY DATA.
