SMALL BUSINESS LENDING COMPANIES' SOLE
FUNCTION IS TO PARTICIPATE IN SBA'S LOAN GUARANTY PROGRAM. THEY ARE
REGULATED, SUPERVISED, AND EXAMINED BY SBA. THE AGENCY'S
REGUALTIONS REQUIRE SBLC'S TO MAINTAIN ESSENTIAL (YET COMMON)
RECORDS OF THEIR CORPORATE OPERATIONS SO THAT I MAY PERFORM THE
ESSENTIAL OVERSIGHT RESPONSIBILITIES.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies

1320.8(b)(3).
