THIS STUDY WILL DETERMINE THE COST OF
PRODUCTING SCHOOL LUNCHES AND BREAKFAST, INCLUDING INDIRECT AND
LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS AS REQUIR BY P.L. 101-624. THE STUDY
WILL ALSO EXAMINE THE COMPOSITION OF FOOD SERVICE COSTS AND THE
VARIATION IN MEAL PRODUCTION COSTS ACROSS DIFFERENT TYPES OF MEAL
PRODUCTION SYSTEMS USED BY SFAS. RESPONDENTS ARE FOOD SERVICE
DIRECTORS IN 985 SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
