Abstract: THE NATIONAL HEALTH INTERVIEW SURVEY, AN ONGOING SURVEY OF THE CIVILIA NON-INSTITUTIONALIZED POPULATION, MONITORS THE NATION'S HEALTH. THE 1994 ACCESS TO CARE SURVEY WILL FOLLOWUP PERSONS IDENTIFIED IN THE 1993 NHIS TO GATHER INFORMATION ABOUT EFFORTS TO OBTAIN MEDICAL CARE AND ANY ENSUING ACCESS PROBLEMS.
