THIS PROSPECTIVE EPIDEMIOLOGIC STUDY
WILL EXAMINE AND FOLLOW, FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS 3,700 SURVIVING
MEMBERS OF THE HONOLULU HEART PROGRAM COHORT, 73 TO 94 YEARS OF
AGE, WHO HAVE BEEN TESTED WITH A DEMENTIA SCREENING INSTRUMENT. THE
OVERALL GOAL OF THIS STUDY IS TO IDENTIFY INCIDENCE AND PREVALENCE
OF DEMENTING ILLNESS IN JAPANESE-AMERICAN MEN. THIS INFORMATION
WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP
