Abstract: THE TAR IS NECESSARY TO ESTABLISH UNIFORM DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ACQUISITION-RELATED REQUIREMENTS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS WHICH IMPLEMEN OR SUPPLEMENT THE FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR). THE FAR WAS DEVELOPED IN ACCORDANCE WITH P.L. 93-400, THE OFFICE OF FEDERAL PROCUREMENT POLICY ACT.
