Abstract: BARRIERS TO GOOD NUTRITION: DATA COLLECTION THROUGH FOCUS GROUPS WILL IDENTIFY BELIEFS, ATTITUDES, AND MOTIVATIONS BEHIND FOOD CHOICES IN ORDER TO DEVELOP NUTRITION EDUCATION STRATEGIES TO ENABLE FNS HOUSEHOLDS TO MAKE BETTER, WISER FOOD CHOICES AND PURCHASES. THIS QUALITATIVE STUDY WILL EXPLAIN FOOD PREFERENCES, EATING PATTERNS, MEAL PREPARATION BEHAVIORS, COOKING SKILLS, AND SHOPPING HABITS.
