Abstract: MIGRATORY WATERFOWL HUNTING IS AUTHORIZED THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES INCLUDING ALASKA. INFORMATION ON THE MAGNITUDE AND COMPOSITION OF THE HARVEST IS NEEDED FOR SOUND MANAGEMENT AND TO PRECLUDE OVER-HARVEST OF THE SPECIES INVOLVED. THE FORMS USED IN THESE SURVEYS PROVIDE THE MAJ PART OF THAT INFORMATION.
