agreed to review possible comparison groups based in part on the
results of this feasibility study, which will determine the extent
to which States collect data on students in these groups. ED shall
provi OMB with a review copy of any revised study design that
includes the u of comparison groups to assess performance of
Douglas scholars.

THIS SURVEY ASKS THE STATES THAT
ADMINISTER THE DOUGLAS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO PROVIDE INFORMATION
ON THE EXTENT OF DATA THEY MAINTAIN ABOUT DOUGLAS SCHOLARS, ABOUT
APPLICANTS WHO DID NOT RECEIVE DOUGLAS SCHOLARSHIPS, AND ABOUT
THEIR DOUGLAS PROGRAM INFORMATION SYSTEM IN GENERAL.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
