Abstract: THE FAA ACT OF 1958, SECTION 607 (49 U.S.C. 1427), AUTHORIZES CERTIFICATION OF REPAIR STATIONS FOR THE REPAIR, ALTERATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF AIRCRAFT. 14 CFR 145 PRESCRIBES RULES GOVERNING CERTIFICATION OF REPAIR STATION OPERATORS AND THE ISSUE OF CERTIFICATE INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED FOR CERTIFICATION AND DETERMINATION OF COMPLIANCE.
