For each study
that the department undertakes under this generic clearance, DOE
will notify OMB, at least two weeks in advance, and provide them
with a summary or objectives, specific burden estimates, and all
final or near-final survey instruments (focus group scripts, test
questions, etc.) covered by the generic clearance for inclusion in
the OMB docket prior to their use. OMB will act within ten days if
the survey fails to meet the criteria of the Paperwork Reduction
Act, otherwise DOE can assume OMB has no objections and may conduct
the survey.
