Pursuant to the
Paperwork Reduction Act, we have approved these two surveys for use
in five STD clinics. Due to the limited geographic nature of the
study protocol, the results of this survey will not be
representative on a national basis and therefore should not be used
exclusively in the determination of Federal policy decisions. In
addition, due to the lack of case-control, pre/post methodology,
the results of this survey will not produce a reliable evaluation
of counseling. However, the survey will have utility in pointing up
general areas of concern or effective intervention.
