Abstract: ONE-TIME, CONGRESSIONALLY DIRECTED STUDY OF COMMERCIAL DRIVERS' EXPERIENCE WITH THE MEDICAL CONDITION KNOWN AS SLEEP APNEA. THIS CONGESTIVE DISORDER INTERFERES WITH RESTFUL SLEEP AND IS A LEADING CAUSE OF DAYTIME SLEEPINESS. TRANSPORTATION WORKERS ARE PARTICULARLY AT RISK.
