Abstract: THE TRUTH IN SAVINGS ACT (TISA) REQUIRES NCUA TO REGULATE ALL CREDIT UNIONS IN THE PROVISION OF CERTAIN DISCLOSURES AND INFORMATION TO THEI MEMBERS AND CONSUMER DEPOSITORS. THE PURPOSE OF TISA IS TO ENABLE CONSUMERS TO MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS ABOUT ACCOUNTS AT CREDIT UNIONS.
