MARKED GEORGRAPHIC DIFFERENCES IN CANCER MORTALITY, NOTABLY BREAST
CANCER, HAVE LONG BEEN RECOGNIZED. REASONS FOR THESE DIFFERENCES
ARE UNKNOWN BUT MAY INCLUDE REGIONAL DIFFERENCES IN THE PREVALENCE
OF ESTABLISHED RISK FACTORS (E.G., LATE AGE FIRST BIRTH) AND
HYPOTHESIZED ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS (E.G., PESTICIDES). THIS PROJECT
IS DESIGNED TO EVALUATE THE CONTRIBUTION OF THESE FACTORS TO
OBSERVED GEOGRAPHIC
