Reinstatement with change of a previously approved collection
THE NATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF EDUCATIONAL
PROGRESS (NAEP) IS A CONGRESSIONALLY MANDATED DATA COLLECTION OF
ASSESSMENT AND BACKGROUND INFORMATION. RESPONDENTS INCLUDE STUDENTS
IN THE 4TH, 8TH, AND 12TH GRADES, TEACHERS, SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS,
AND PARENTS. THE 1995/96 ASSESSMENT WILL BE CONDUCTED IN THE
FOLLOWING SUBJECTS: MATHEMATICS, READING, AND THE ARTS (DANCE,
MUSIC, THEATER, AND VISUAL ARTS).
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
