Abstract: THE STANDARD REQUIRES OWNERS OF NEW OR MODIFIED/RECONSTRUCTED MAGNETIC TAPE MANUFACTURING FACILITIES TO MAKE REPORTS TO THE ADMINISTRATOR AND TO KEEP RECORDS. QUARTERLY EXCESS EMISSION REPORTS OR SEMIANNUAL COMPLIANCE REPORTS ARE REQUIRED. THE REPORTS AND RECORDS ENABLE THE ADMINISTRATOR TO DETERMINE THAT BEST DEMONSTRATED TECHNOLOGY IS INSTALLED AND PROPERLY OPERATED AND MAINTAINED.
