EPA IS PROPOSING REGISTRATION
REGULATIONS TO IMPLEMENT CAA 211(B)(2). SUCH REGULATIONS WILL
REQUIRE MANUFACTURERS OF MOTOR VEHICLE FUELS AND FUEL ADDITIVES TO
IDENTIFY THE HEALTH, ENVIRONMENTAL, AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM
EFFECTS OF FUELS AND FUEL ADDITIVES FOR PURPOSES OF REGISTERING
SUCH PRODUCTS PRIOR TO THEIR SALE AND/OR DISTRIBUTION.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
