Abstract: SECTION 76.916 PROVIDES THAT A FRANCHISE AUTHORITY WISHING TO ASSUME JURISDICTION TO REGULATE BASIC SERVICE AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT RATES AFTER ITS REQUEST FOR CERTIFICATION HAS BEEN DENIED OR REVOKED MUST FILE A PETITION FOR RECERTIFICATION.
