Abstract: THE REGULATIONS REQUIRE REGISTERED GOVERNMENT SECURITIES BROKERS AND DEALERS TO MAINTAIN AND FILE INFORMATION CONCERNING CERTAIN OF THEIR AFFILIATES. THE REGULATIONS PROVIDE REGULATORY AGENCIES WITH ACCESS T INFORMATION CONCERNING THE BUSINESS ACTIVITIES OF CERTAIN BROKER AND DEALER AFFILIATES THAT MAY HAVE A MATERIAL IMPACT ON THE BROKER AND DEALER.
