Terms of Clearance: This ICR is approved for use by EIA through December 1997, with the amendments to the confidentiality and sanction statements that DOE proposed in the December 18, 1991, letter from Yvonne Bishop (EIA) to Ron Minsk (OMB). In addition, in subsequent ICR renewals EIA shall discuss any observed decrease in the rates of response attributable to these changes or other degradation of the quality of data that result from these changes.

Abstract: THESE SURVEYS (1) PROVIDE DATA ON THE RESERVE OF CRUDE OIL, NATURAL GA AND NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS, (2) DETERMINE THE STATUS AND APPROXIMATE LEVE OF PRODUCTION, AND (3) PROVIDE DATA USED TO ESTIMATE NATURAL GAS LIQUI PRODUCTION AND RESERVES. DATA ARE PUBLISHED. RESPONDENTS ARE DOMESTI OIL AND GAS WELL OPERATORS AND NATURAL GAS PROCESSING PLANT OPERATORS.
