Abstract: SECTIONS 5(A) AND 7(F)(1) OF THE U.S. GRAIN STANDARDS ACT AND SECTIONS 203(H) AND 205(A) OF THE AGRICULTURAL MARKETING ACT OF 1946 MANDATE THAT, UPON REQUEST OF OTHER BRANCHES OF THE GOVERNMENT, STATE AGENCIES OR PRIVATE INTEREST, USDA SHALL INSPECT, CERTIFY, AND IDENTIFY THE CLASS, QUALITY, QUANTITY, AND CONDITION OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS SHIPP OR RECEIVED IN INTERSTATE AND FOREIGN COMMERCE. ALSO, THAT USDA MAY ENTER SUCH CONTRACTS OR AGREEMENTS TO PROVIDE DESIGNATED INSPECTORS/SAMPLERS.
