Abstract: THE FAA IS UNDERTAKING THE REVISION OF FEDERAL AVIATION REGULATION (FA PART 207, AIRPORT SECURITY, AND MUST EVALUATE THE ANTICIPATED COSTS/BENEFITS OF ANY PROPOSED REGULATORY CHANGES. AS PART OF THIS PROCESS, THE FAA IS SEEKING TO SURVEY A RANDOM SAMPLING OF AIRPORTS REGULATED UNDER FAR PART 107 TO OBTAIN DATA ON SECURITY OPERATIONS.
