EPA is conducting surveys of households to determine the efficacy, practicality and economy of lead-based paint abatement practices and repair and maintenance approaches in residences. Survey results will identify means of reducing lead exposure, particularly among children, in residences where complete abatement or rehabilitation is problematic.
