Abstract: AIDS EDUCATION AND TRAINING CENTERS (AETC'S) ARE REQUIRED, AS A CONDITION OF AWARD, TO CONDUCT ASSESSMENTS OF TRAINING NEEDS IN THEIR SERVICE AREAS EVERY 3 YEARS. A STANDARDIZED PROTOCOL HAS BEEN DEVELOPED FOR IDENTIFYING TRAINING NEEDS OF PHYSICIANS, PHYSICAN ASSISTANTS, NURSES, CERTIFIED NURSE PRACTITIONERS, DENTISTS, AND DENTAL HYGIENISTS.
