Abstract: THE JAVITS GIFTED AND TALENTED STUDENTS EDUCATION GRANT PROGRAM PROVIDES GRANTS FOR PROJECTS DESIGNED TO HELP BUILD A NATIONWIDE CAPABILITY IN GIFTED AND TALENTED EDUCATION AND ENCOURAGE RICH AND CHALLENGING CURRICULA FOR ALL CHILDREN. AN APPLICATION IS REQUIRED FOR AN APPLICANT TO RECEIVE A GRANT. THE GRANTEE IS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN RECORDS. PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS ARE SEA'S, LEA'S, IHE'S, AND OTHER PUBLIC AND PRIVATE AGENCIES INCLUDING INDIAN TRIBES AND ORGANIZATIONS AND HAWAIIAN NATIVE ORGANIZATIONS.
