Abstract: The information requirement is pursuant to P.L. 95-87 which requires that the regulatory authority make a determination of exemption of mining operators extracting less than 16 2/3 percent tonnage of coal incidental to the extraction of other minerals. The information collected will be used by the regulatory authority to make that determination.
