This clearance
is approved according to the Paperwork Reduction Act and 5 USC 1320
through December 1995. The Bureau of the Census will report to OMB
by December 1995 the erroneous enumeration rate for the ICM and
non-ICM areas examined. These data will be analyzed to determine if
there are significant differences and why.

During the 1995 Census Test, the
Census Bureau will evaluate fundamentally different design and
procedural options to improve census coverage. The Coverage Study
Survey Questionnaire is used to obtain information to determine
whether person adds (or potential adds in the case of
administrative records) were added to the census erroneously. This
operation is critical to evaluate four of the fundamental design
changes being tested.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
