Abstract: THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR IS CONDUCTING A NATIONAL PERFORMANCE REVIEW REENGINEERING ANALYSIS OF ITS FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT PROCESS. THE DEPARTMENT WILL SURVEY ITS FOIA CUSTOMERS TO DETERMINE THEIR LEVEL OF SATISFACTION WITH THE CURRENT PROCESS AND WHERE SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS ARE NEEDED. RESPONDENTS ARE FOIA CUSTOMERS/MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO HAVE SUBMITTED FOIA REQUESTS TO THE DEPARTMENT.
